Students in performance
A selection of videos featuring some of Victoria's students — from beginners playing their first pieces to advanced students performing at recitals and studio events.
Students on the Carnegie Hall stage
In 2022, a group of Victoria's students had the extraordinary experience of performing at Carnegie Hall in New York City — one of the most prestigious concert venues in the world. This kind of opportunity reflects the level of dedication and preparation that Victoria expects and nurtures in her students.
Spring Recital 2025
Students performing pieces from Suzuki Books 1–3, including works by Bach, Vivaldi, and traditional folk songs.
A celebration, not a competition
Recitals at Victoria's studio are designed to be encouraging and fun. Every student performs — regardless of level — and the audience is always made up of supportive families and friends.
Performing in front of others is an important part of musical development. It builds confidence, teaches students to recover gracefully from small mistakes, and gives real meaning to all the practice time at home.
New students typically perform in their first recital within 6–9 months of starting lessons, once they have a piece they feel proud of.
When
Spring (May/June) and Winter (December) each year. Families are notified 6–8 weeks in advance.
Where
Held at a local venue in the Bay Area. Details are shared with enrolled students.
Who performs
All enrolled students are invited. Participation is strongly encouraged but never mandatory.
